Pedro Frade – Report about the school trip to the Museum of Electricity

On the 24th of February I went to “Museum of Electricity” in Lisbon.
We left at two o’clock and arrived at about four o’clock.
This Museum is a place dedicated to energy sources, mainly the renewable energies.
In this Museum I saw experiments about how electricity was discovered and how renewable energies work, such as: solar panels, aeolic energy and hydraulic energy.
I also learnt how electricity was produced by burning coal many years ago.
I was also into a machine which was used to burn coal and learnt the types of work people used to do with this machine.
The visit to the museum was very interesting because I learnt a lot of things about electricity, so useful in our everyday life.
